Default OCEAN'S 11 (1960) Nov 9th 2010 Official Thread

Warner Bros. is releasing the Original Classic Ocean's 11 on blu-ray November 9th 50th Anniversary Edition (Original Date was OCT 5th but has recently changed)

I'll rent it since I've never seen it. I guess the newer version is supposed to be better.

Eh, I dunno about that. The third new one was pretty decent. By that time they more or less figured out that the caper itself was secondary to the charisma of the cast. The first new one felt kind of flat, though.

Is it really only 4:3? The LD is widescreen.

It's definitely not full screen. As per the review:

I had no idea this was in color. What happened to the B&W version?! Am I confusing it with another film? I swear I saw this in B&W on DVD.

Filmed in Technicolor! Maybe you saw a Black and Whiter version, or thinking of something else!
