Ultraman (1966) and Ultraseven (1967) 4K

Coming 2026 from Mill Creek Entertainment. Announced at G-Fest by Ultraman Connection.

The 4K for Ultraman will include the full English dub.

They're releasing a Blu-ray this November called Ultraman 4K Discovery that will feature remastered footage and dub. The full series 4Ks are currently scheduled for July and September 2026.

This is very exciting but I’ll keep my expectations nonexistent or low on the quality front…

EDIT: I hope they take the time and effort to do it right…

I hope the original Mono tracks are included this time. The Stereo remixes are awful.

Will warn that they did not specify if the English dub is the full original one or a newly produced dub. Previously they only released select episodes with the original dub to Blu-ray. I feel like they would have highlighted the fact if it was a new dub, but you can never tell (see Ultraman USA debacle)

Over in the blu ray forum thread they seem to indicate that original english dub was unearthed and will be used.

This is awesome. I actually hadn't watched the blu rays yet but I will upgrade without hesitation especially for Ultraseven, but ultimately both.

Based on a leaked listing for Ultraman 4K Discovery (which is also apparently going to be 4K discs) these will be nowhere as cheap as the Blu-ray releases.
So maybe they will try a little harder. Who knows.
