There is ridiculous amounts of money to be made in those F2P games. Read the story on Polygon about a few individuals who spent 5 figures on Final Fantasy BX. Bethesda is smart to capture those Elder Scrolls starved fans and funnel them to a mobile game to hopefully spend their money.

I have no doubts it will be optimized for PS5/Xbox but, like Skyrim, it will be on anything with a screen to include this current gen

I'm betting we'll get Starfield next year and this game in 2020, before we even see the next generation of consoles. Just what I'm thinking, we'll just have to wait and see.

Definitely won't see anything on this until next gen consoles are revealed. Luckily we won't be waiting too long for that to happen.

The game world will hopefully have more terrain variety than Skyrim, but this looks hopeful.

Possibly they can offer a PS4 and PS5 version, since this is only in pre-production.

I'd like terrain similar to Oblivion. And a big vast land with sprawling villages and cities.

I don't think it will. They've built themselves a very successful online game already and I don't see them wanting to split that player base.

Fallout was incredibly stale, it needed something big.

I don't agree with that the stories have gotten a little less captivating from 3, but I still wanted to sink 100+ hours int Fallout 4, probably more when I finally start all the DLC.

I’m very excited for this announcement. I sunk hundreds and hundreds of hours into Skyrim, and I’m hoping for more of the same with VI. I haven’t played any ES game besides Skyrim, so I’m looking forward to learning more about other lands within Tamriel. Can’t wait to play this!

Todd Howard confirmed that TES6 is in early pre-production. You're definitely not getting it in 2020.

This years E3 was an odd one like 2012s seeing lots of vague game announcements without dates or details because they are going to be on next gen. Next years E3 can't come soon enough.

It was an odd E3 in some ways, agreed. I bet we'll get a transition of PS4/PS5 games that are downgraded for PS4, upgraded for PS5, as with Watch Dogs 1 for PS3/PS4 and many others. I enjoyed that option while it lasted, even though I already had a PS4 November 15th, 2013. That thing is still working after 5 years almost.

The controllers on the other hand didn't hold up like the PS3 controller still is, and the PS2, and PS1 controllers still do. Too bad Sony didn't announce more reliable, less flawed designed controllers as smooth as they are for games.

I have to make a list of my favorite E3 2018 games of the show.
Beyond Good and Evil 2.
AC: Greece.
Days Gone.
Tshunami Sword (trying to visualize the names, I forget).
Skulls and Bones actually looked interesting.
Rage 2 surpassed my expectations for the open world.
Hmm, what else?
Of course Elder Scrolls VI should be awesome for next gen, and PS4 maybe, but most likely that will be on next gen PS5.
