The Amityville Curse (1990) will be released on 10/25/22. This is a Vinegar Syndrome Exclusive until 11/29/22!

The Amityville Curse is a 1990 supernatural horror film directed by Tom Berry and starring Kim Coates, Cassandra Gava and Jan Rubeš. It is loosely based on the novel of the same name by Hans Holzer. It is the fifth film in the Amityville Horror film series.

It’s not VS btw. It’s CIP (Canadian Intl Pictures), who is an OCN partner label.

I always thought this should have been part of the Amityville Cursed Collection that VS Released but I'm glad it's finally coming to Blu-Ray.

Slips are exclusive to ordering direct from Vinegar Syndrome. Places like DiabolikDVD might happen to get some, but the normal retailers are slipless.

Well hell you're right. I just canceled my order from Deepdiscount and will order directly from VS.

Got my pre-order in for this earlier this month. I love this movie. I know I'm in the minority, but if you go into it without taking the Amityville association into account, it is a fantastic early-'90s haunted house movie. So much fun from beginning to end. I was bummed when VS released their "Amityville Cursed Collection" and this wasn't included. I'm elated that it's finally getting a good Blu-ray release here in North America. I considered getting the German release, but had trouble finding it and gave up.

Unless you're subscriber and then the slipcover version is only $19.99 (or $17.49 for the standard edition).

What was the print run? Glad it's a brisk seller. These movies aren't Masterpiece Theater but they're hugely popular. Anything that brings success to the label is a good thing.

So am I really missing out on something if I don't blind buy this before it sells out? Must have some kind of value to sell like hotcakes like this. I've only seen the first 3 Amityville Horror films (as well as the Ryan Reynolds remake) and only like the first 2 out of those.

This is technically the first unofficial Amityville film and doesn't even take place in Amityville. The movie is on Tubi if you want to preview it.
