New Subwoofers!

New subwoofers in the house! AE AV15 Power Cubes! They contain a 15 inch driver and two 18 inch passive radiators. I'm enjoying them ....a lot!!!!!!

A fella in town was selling them....very cheap I might add. I actually bought one and my friend bought the other. However, he didn't like the sound compared to the punch that he got from his 3 subwoofer swarm. So since my wharfedale sw-380's matched his Quad's - we traded, I gave him both of my SW-380's for the one AV15.

It worked out for the both of us. He has all maple speakers and the color of the AV15's is closer to the color of my Cornwalls. He used to multiple subs, and the SAF wouldn't let him have two of those monsters. They weight a little over 200lbs each. Got them dialed in and man!!!!! I have no bass issues what so ever!!!! Neither does he!! The one sub would load up in his room - had is significant other agreed to having both of them, it would have worked but she said that big stuff was just taking over !!!! My wife has no problem with big speakers in my room - she says I'm entitled to at least one room in the house....and I like it!!!!

The only think I might do - is change the AV15's out and replace them with TD15-H's (I have one already - sitting in a cardboard box all packed up - never decided if I would sell it or not....I'm glad I kept it)!!!!

Thanks Solardadd!!! Now to get down to Tallahassee and get my paid for B&K 200.5 Reference!!!! I was satisfied with what I had already, but when unbelievable deals come up - I look at them as investments! Both of these deals were EXTREME

There are so many cool subwoofers available now in the market, it's sometimes hard to pick. However, it is obvious that the price is something we have to look at and is something that makes noticeable difference if you're on a budget like me.
