Default Zavvi Question : Are these the correct Star Wars prequel sets for my collection?

Hi all,

I bought Revenge of The Sith many years ago but have not yet got around to adding Attack of The Clones and The Phantom Menace to my DVD/Blu-Ray collection despite owning the rest of the films in the series however I'm thinking of correcting this omission.

Out of interest does anyone know if these listings for Episodes I and II on Zavvi are the same versions in this image?

I have the release of Episode III in that picture so having the other two would be nice for the sake of consistency.

I am cautiously optimistic because I've never seen any alternate art for the single releases of those two films apart from the Steelbooks, but wanted to confirm before I make the payment.

Regards

I think the Zavvi links are for the 2015 re-issues with alternative cover art. They're single disc sets too, if your Revenge of the Sith has 2 DVDs you'll want to get the original 2 disc sets to match them.

The new ones have hand drawn artwork whilst the originals have live-action floating heads.

Why not go to your local thrift shop? I'm sure you could find Episodes 1 and 2 for much cheaper than what's on Zavvi.

I've seen the 2-disc original editions (to match my Episode III DVD) in some second hand stores but have debated on picking them up for a while now. I may do so the next time I visit one of them rather than take a risk on the Zavvi link. As I say the main reason I'm looking for these DVDs is for consistency and completeness sake.

As I said I think they're the 2015 releases. If you want the originals, pick them up from Amazon. The good thing with the new releases is that The Phantom Menace should have the new transfer, the DVD box set included it.

As far as I know if you want the gold-band releases they'll all be 2 disc sets.
