Trailer wasn't particularly great, but then James Ponsoldt name popped up at the end and that's practically all they need to guarantee my money.

Looks like an interesting concept in an mediocre movie. I'm not convinced by the trailer. But since trailers aren't movies, I'll check it out anyway.

Thanks for your thread Jett. I took notes of which trailers I saw in the theater a couple weeks ago and this was one of them but I could not remember for the life of me what it was about. This thread reminded me that I needed to IMDb it but I think I did that just the other day. Anyway, kind of thinking out loud here

Haven't read the book, but according to Wikipedia, he plays the terminally ill father of Emma Watson's character. That could be tough to watch.

Funny to see Hanks pop up in another movie based on a book by Dave Eggers.

The trailer couldn't really convince me though.

'The Circle' opens in less then 24 hours (Thursday night showings) and there still isn't a critic score at Rotten Tomatoes. Are critics embargoed until opening day?
