Hey, I just imported Phone Booth region B. If anyone else has it could you please tell me if the fact that it only has DTS HD MAster Audio means that I can't play it through my normal DD and DTS surround speakers? The voice from the phone is only coming out from the right speaker. With the DVD, the voice comes through ALL the surround speakers. IS this happening because of the DTS HD track? And it might only be me but the quality looks as though it was ported straight from the DVD. Even the chapters are identical. And the film starts without a menu! ARH! Anyone else have these issues? Do I need to buy a new sound system just to play DTS HD?

I know this has probably been asked before so I'm sorry. From the threads I've searched, it seems that the only signals one can receive throughb an optical or coaxial cable is DD 5.1 and DTS. Can someone confirm this for me? Are these really the only two signals?

You should have 5.1, and can access the menu after the movie starts. Last edited by JAGUAR1977; 08-28-2007 at 05:30 PM. |

Just finished watching this one. Working at home and it's rather quiet so that leave's me a lot of time to kill while keeping a eye on the laptop
![]() Was playing on MoviePix so I figured I would watch it. Can't say I was much taken by the story. Suppose to have suspense but really did not feel it very much ![]() |

Rewatched this for the first time in a LONG time. I remember hating it for some reason but felt compelled to revisit it.
This is an incredibly tense and gripping thriller. The quick pace works in every way. Farrell's performance is solid and he gives an incredibly heartfelt monologue at the climax that really gets you to sympathize with him. This is definitely worth a second chance. 8/10 Seriously, this was amazing. Last edited by ArrestedDevelopment; 11-15-2019 at 06:02 AM. |
