I'm about to list about 20 Blu-ray titles as a lot on ebay. Are there any strategies to get the best exposure and price?
I usually sell my stuff as single items, but I just want to get rid of everything in one shot. |

try to find an average of what the movies go for, each. add those together to get a total, then take a percentage off as a bulk sale.
i'd start with 10% off the total, then go to 15% if they don't sell in a decent amount of time. |

Be prepared to negotiate individual sales. A while back I was looking for a particular GameCube game and someone on eBay was selling it as a lot with other games. I contacted him and he let me buy just that one game for $20. You may get a few emails like that.

Have you thought about how you're going to ship them so they won't get damaged? The bigger the box, the bigger the likelihood of smashing, especially if you pick media mail and it gets thrown from truck to truck for a week.

It's free to list on ebay so list them for the most you think you can get for them... $75 or so? Add the "Best Offer" option and you can get an idea of what people would be willing to pay. If it doesn't sell the first time around or you don't get any offers near what you want, just gradually lower the price each time and eventually someone will buy them.
You are correct to list them in a lot as you could get a few dollars more listing them individually but you will spend so much time packaging and going to the post office, the minimal profit will not be worth it. My rule is individual listings only for movies that might go for $15 or more. |

You could also put the lot up for sale on your local craigslist. Just a few more eyes on them and if somebody local winds up buying it you won't have to deal with shipping them. Just an idea.

Thank you! I would, but I've had some bad experiences with Craigslist. I live close to a post office, so that's not a problem.
