Default Will the 4k aisle at walmart remain the sane for years to come?

I noticed that Walmart added a big aisle with 4k uhd blu rays. I wonder. Are new 4k titles going to be added to that section at least once a week, or are they going to take the usual route and just have the same movies for a long time?

It looks like they've pulled Wonder Woman already.

They've changed the 4k format a bunch of times at my WM so far:
1) Mixed in with new releases
2) Seperate Endcap
3)Endcap and side of Trifold
4)Just Endcap, no Trifold
5) New release Endcap and Larger section with other movies

Of all these, the only one that ever seems to get new titles is the endcap.

The Wal-Mart closest to me, in a lower income area, has a small movie section. Their 4k movies are generally only for new releases. I don't think I've seen any deep catalog 4k title sold there. End cap gets the latest movies in DVD/blu/4k.

Recent 4k releases that haven't sold out are mixed in with everything else.

Indeed, he's done it in the blu-ray section and now he's found UHD, I fear for the future of this section .....

There's one Walmart near me that barely has any blurays, much less 4k movies. It's still 90% DVD.

Walmart is notorious for "YMMV" relative to pricing and even displaying their merchandise. Unless a Walmart Entertainment software buyer would chime in from Bentonville, AR...we would all be guessing on the future corporate commitment to 4k software.

No offense but this is a terrible thread. It should NOT have its own thread and should be here...

This thread is for when you want to know the answer to something 4K related, but don't want to make a whole individual thread for it. Or can't make a thread. Or don't want to get roundly mocked.

No question too small! Or too dumb!
Seems to fit this perfectly ha.

or else the Walmart thread that existed here first.

Either of those would work.

Default Good question.

I believe it all comes down to available space. The closest Walmart to where I live has about half an aisle displaying 4K and HD Blu-ray titles. However, another Walmart in my area which is at least, double the size, has three aisles displaying 4K and HD Blu-ray titles.
