Two things were interesting in this movie: how well Pierfrancesco Favino speaks Portuguese, and the presence of Maria Fernanda Cāndido (it's not every day we Brazilians see one of our own acting in prestigious foreign projects). This is my first Bellocchio, so it's kind of a bummer that that's all I can think of.
On to Fists in the Pocket. |

I watched this yesterday, and thought it was good, but ultimately forgettable as it really doesn't add anything new to the gangster film mythos. Good performances and well done, but nothing too out of the ordinary. Similar to the Irishman in many ways.
I did love the scene where all the jail sentences were read out. Favorite part of the film. |
