Is that Isaac they put in the top right corner of the Blu-ray box set? Of all the people they could put on there, not counting the ones on the DVD cover (Sylar, Peter, Hiro, Claire), there's still Nathan, Mohinder and Parkman. Even Kristen Bell!

I love the first two seasons so much, but the fact that they didn't finish the series, and the fact season 3 and 4 had a lot of lame plot lines and overall episodes that didn't interest me just KILLS IT soooo much... I become emotionally invested in the characters in the show, it's just unbearable to know that it ended up cancelled, and the series was just left to die.
I don't think I'd ever buy a tv series on blu, anyways, maybe something like band of brothers, but that's it. |

I thought Seasons 2 and 3 were awful. I can excuse Season 2 because of the writer's strike, but the third season had no excuse. Season 4 started to improve because they finally gave us an actual villain with powers that didn't give a **** about hiding his abilities. That moment when Sam destroyed an entire city was just amazing. He was the series' first true villain.
As for Reborn, I was going to check it out, but since NBC canned Constanstine prematurely, I refuse to support anything they do. |

They never got to do anything with his bisexuality though. But then, there was never a need to do that otherwise it would have came off as forced. It's a shame the show was canceled before it was even given a chance (yet, Gotham got renewed by Fox, WTF?). Some of the episodes were direct adaptations of the Hellblazer issues (episode 4 is an adaptation of the first issue), they brought in the House of Mystery, had John Corrigan in two episodes with the notion that he was going to become the Spectre, and the guy they got to play Papa Midnight was hands down amazing. Oh yeah, as was the dude who played Felix Faust (he was the guy in the wheel chair in Breaking Bad if you have watched that show). |
