Great producer and seems like a good man in general. Loved the new extras on some of the Cameron 4K’s that he was a part of. Avatar 3 almost undoubtedly will be dedicated to him. There aren’t a ton of producers that I feel like any general audience people know, this was one of them though, and that alone says allot.

Rest in peace, Mr. Landau.

From his work and the various interviews I've seen with him over the years, he seemed like a genuinely kind man with a big heart.

It's sad to hear of his passing.

My mom passed from lung cancer, my cousin is currently fighting colon cancer, and a friend's associate passed from stomach cancer. My Dad and his sister also passed from Alzheimer's. So I think I have a fairly firm grasp on this kind of thing.
