Justin Bieber – or Biebs as those of us on the inside like to call him — is developing an animated feature about Cupid. Bieber is also lined up to voice the Roman god of desire and erotic love, and will executive produce.

The project will be produced by Mythos Studios, a new company founded by Scooter Braun, who is Bieber’s manager, and David Maisel, executive producer of The Angry Birds Movie, Thor, and the first two Iron Man films.

“When this project was brought to Justin, he instantly was excited to be a part of it,” Braun said in a statement. “Fortunately for us, like Cupid, he knows a little bit about love and mischief.”

Added Maisel, “Both myself and Scooter have a lifelong love of mythology and we are so excited to partner with Justin to bring the amazing, magical story of Cupid to the world.”

Bieber teased the project on his Instagram on Tuesday.
