Missed out on this the first time around in cinemas (It only briefly ran in the UK Peanuts just isn't that big a deal over here). Loved the animation style judging by the trailers and seems to be keeping in thematic style of the original cartoons.

Are the reviews right? Is it just as good a i hear?

difficult to say. i liked it alot. its a great movie. but its not anything groundbreaking, and if you read negative reviews it will focus on that. but i think if you like peanuts, you will like this.

Yeah, i'm hoping that its a more traditional style of animation that isn't a pop culture filled wacky zany imitation-dreamworks affair. I love the melancholic overtones to the original show and hoping that the film will continue that element of the show. Like i said i love the animation style and how much it looks like the show.

I'll probably check this out at some point.
