Will gladly do the upgrade, hopefully the hardware will be a little bit more up-to-date this time. The new remote and Dolby Vision support (I'm just future-proofing for now) has me sold on this.

That's an awesome deal, but tbh I cant stand the fire stick interface. Much prefer the Roku's or Apple TV's.

They've come a long way in not putting their own stuff front and center as much

That was one of my gripes with Fire TV (that and not having Dolby vision). If I didn't have the Apple Tv 4K, I would be very interested in this (heck, I might still bite at $50).
