Marvel's The Gifted Season 2 Out on MOD DVD As Of 7/9/19 - Blu-ray Forum

This came out of nowhere.

TV on DVD facebook is reporting that The Gifted Season 2 was released on MOD DVD this week via movie zing.com..

I just bought Legion Season 2 on MOD DVD via Amazon last week.It came in on Monday.It looks and sounds great for a MOD DVD.

At this point when it comes to anything Marvel TV show related.I feel lucky if we get a MOD DVD release.I was not expecting any type of release for the final season of The Gifted so I'll take this.

With all the new new releases coming on blu ray the next few weeks,I probably won't be able to order this until late September/October at the earliest.Late July through November are always expensive months for blu ray releases for me,August being the worst most years including this year.I had no warning on this so couldn't plan for it so I'm just not going to be able to buy it until later in the fall.Still I'm very happy The Gifted Season 2 did get some sort of disk release.

Thanks for the info. I find it pretty depressing that it's burned, though not surprising.

I hope it shows up elsewhere (I'm not familiar with that site). In the past Amazon has sometimes pressed Fox DVD-R's themselves, so it seems remotely possible that they might, if they ever do carry it.

I've heard of movie zing.com..They get the rights to more niched movies and TV shows and release them.I have a feeling that they have the exclusive rights to The Gifted Season 2 so I'm not holding my breath of Amazon releasing this.I'll be waiting a few months before beign able to buy this as noted above,so I have time to wait and see about Amazon.But if not,I'll order it from here.

Good to know. I thought The Gifted S01-S02 was one of the best TV series I've ever seen. I streamed the show exclusively, though may get the first S01 DVD set & this second set as well. One of the reasons I was holding off on buying the first DVD set was because I didn't think the second season would ever come out, and I didn't want to have an incomplete collection.

Too bad the show didn't hit Blu, and at this point it looks like it never will.

It sucks it only lasted 2 seasons. If Disney wanted it to continue, they could’ve just moved it to Hulu. But Disney was too tight with their billions of dollars to even do that much.

I was going to wait to later in the fall to order this but since Amazon is carrying it,and I had enough on my Amazon gift card I used to buy Legion Season 2 last month,I ordered The Gifted Season 2 over the weekend.

My copy of The Gifted Season 2 came in this afternoon.Just did a spot check and it looks good for a MOD DVD.Like Legion Season 2.
