Default Which show do you like better: Friends or The Big Bang Theory?

Just curious to see what people think is a better show...Friends or The Big Bang Theory?

I decided to start this because let's face it, they're both AWESOME comedy shows and it's an extremely tough choice. So, I just want to see what show people will give the edge too.

It's a really tough choice as I consider both great shows, but I, personally, will have to give the edge to "Friends."

So what about you?

It is if you don't like the other show, it wasn't specified that you had to like both shows.

No problem...just thought it was odd because I think they're both awesome. Just not sure how anyone can not like Big Bang.

Big Bang Theory by a mile. As a rule, I don't like comedies in the first place, but "smart" humor has always won me over. The Big Bang Theory and Scrubs are the only two comedies I've ever really enjoyed.

Well I watch them both regularly on reruns and stuff but Big Bang is the winner for me. The best part of friends was the Ross and Monica sibling rivalry deal but Big Bang has a whole cast of enjoyable characters.

Tough choice but that's my vote.

I've watched more than enough to know. It only takes 1-3 for me to decide, if even that.

I know quite a few people that don't like it. I don't get why people expect everyone to love it.

I've seen all of Friends and BBT episodes and I'm going with Friends because I've been watching it for way longer. I can watch any episode multiple times and laugh every time just as hard as the first time.

I can't really do that with BBT. I understand the humor on BBT very well and think it's great but when I watch the re-runs they don't seem as funny as the first time I saw it, except for some scenes.

Both shows are/were great, but I'd still have to go with Friends.

Big Bang Theory. They're not even in the same league IMO. Friends would have been much better if Ross wasn't in it.

Friends is the easy winner for me. I love both shows but for longevity and consistancy, I chose Friends.

Now, if BBT had more Kripke in it....my vote could've been different but it doesn't, so it can go "suck a wemon".

Ross was annoying in the first couple of seasons due to the monkey thing, but he actually became quite funny in the later seasons.

The Big Bang Theory. I was one of those that thought it wasn't the type of show for me until some of you here in the forums convinced me to give it a try and I love it! Only seen reruns of Friends from time to time. These two shows don't seem all that comparable tho. How I Met Your Mother has a more Friends vibe to me.
