You've got to love Universal, some of these have masters dating back to the VHS era.

Must resist ...

I've never been a fan of that version of The Thing, but Top Gun is heading into my Danger Zone.

Never mind VHS is retro, sell-thru is retro!

Think I'll pass. I bought The House of the Devil DVD with the VHS and it has been gathering dust since. I thought it would be 'fun' to have, it isn't

Even though I collected VHS tapes back in the day, I have no nostalgia for the format, especially seeing the awful old CIC style

If it's the new transfer (the one used for the 3D release) then I'll be all over it too

I'd love the BTTF one too, but I've bought that so many times, and it'll still be the same, tired master.

Given all the toot dressing it up, I suspect that Malibu Stacy merely has a new hat.

Shame there isn't a playable VHS included... I still have a JVC S-VHS player

What next? Maybe pretend Laserdisc... oh wait... we had Big Sleeves already, LOL

'sell-thru' - that's a term I haven't heard for a while, I'm getting all teary eyed with nostalgia.

11 great films (and Ferris Bueller), all of which I've either seen or bought several times already. Looks like potentially nice packaging fudged. An easy pass at £14.99 each.

They should do full size 35mm film canister with a label coming away at the corners with the title written with a sharpie.

I hate what they have done with Scarface. I was almost tempted just to display the nice original poster art - but then they have 'from the director of The Untouchables' written on it, a movie that came after Scarface. I guess it fits as VHS art but not as poster art. Still might pick it up.

I like the look of some...but I've got all the films I'd want.

I dunno...maybe in a sale.

If they're doing real CIC retro, they should use cardboard sleeves. Hate their sell through stripy covers.

Edit: oh, they are cardboard. I am a twat.

Steelbooks, big sleeve and now VHS, studios are desperate to keep reselling us the same movies over and over again

I’m guessing these are going to replace HMV doing anymore Premium Collection releases, especially as they haven’t announced any for a while now.
