I noticed shortly after Movies Anywhere started, studios in Canada stopped releasing films with digital codes that supported iTunes.
The only ones in Canada that support iTunes anymore are Paramount and E-One I believe. Or is this because of the free 4K upgrade in iTunes and they wanted more control over the resolution? Either way, this change has really stopped me from buying hard-copy releases anymore. Anyone else? I’m assuming once UV is discontinued, everyone will move to Google Play (Universal and Fox, even Sony have started doing this). I don’t enjoy the experience on Google as much as iTunes, though. |
