Lionsgate and other studios have been re-releasing a lot of movies with Digital Copies. The BDs are still the same.

Was thinking it was a DigiBook at first. But it doesn't look like it. Hopefully it is derived from a 4k Source Master. But, like you, I doubt it. |

The existing Blu-ray that I bought for five dollars at Target works perfectly well for me, and I've been a fan of this movie since its release during my childhood.
Take the money that you would have spent on this re-release and buy the amazing source novel by David Morrell. It's one of the grittiest and toughest novels that you'll ever read. |

This is one of my favorite films, and I'm still going to stick with the original UK release of this. Also have the original US release for the alternate ending. In my opinion, there is a noticeable, yet mild improvement over the original UK when it comes to the DE/etc remaster of the first film. But I haven't bothered, and probably won't. From screen captures I've seen of the second and third films, I really don't see an improvement over the first discs. They just look contrast boosted for the worse.

When I first caught the amazon pre-order on this title I jumped at it because the list price was only $9.96, it had new artwork partially rendering the original poster art not to mention the digital copy for Vudu. I previously owned the initial 2007 blu release from the Trilogy box set. Well just as the majority rule all Lionsgate did was re-issue the same disc just with new box art & digital copy. The disc itself is the exact same one as the 2007 release. So if Rambo II & III get re-issued w/ new box art & digital copy, the disc will be the same.
No remastered disc here! ![]() |

Hey,
Is this the German version people are talking about? https://www.amazon.de/Rambo-Trilogy-...keywords=Rambo I didnt even know there was a BD with a new transfer. Then theres this: https://www.amazon.ca/Classic-Trilog...keywords=Rambo What does "Sous-titres francais" mean? I hope it doesnt mean forced subs. I thought some on this thread were saying that release (Canadian) also has the new transfer and all the extras, is that correct? ![]() |

Thank you. Might get the Canada release as that seems so cheap, almost too good to be true.
Do you know whether that one has all the extras as well? ![]() |
