Exclamation No 3D No sale

Really encourage everyone to leave a no 3d no sale on Amazon . I know 13th man does and have replied to a couple of of the Troll comments people have left to his. But we must stick together and let know companies like Amazon know if a title was released on the cinema in 3d but not on blu ray .

No 3d No sale !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is a valid point but up to what extent can we blame the retailers for this ?

It's not the retailers being criticised or getting one star ratings.

My one star rating for the TV version of They Shall Not Grow Old Warners has dumped out in the UK now has over 100 helpful votes.

Ralph Breaks The Internet is almost 50% one star votes.

Even if it achieves nothing, it appropriately shames the distributors.

Precisely. The rating is for the product, not the outfit that sells it.

This tactic was used to condemn the proposed censored version of THE "COMPLETE" TOM & JERRY Volume 2 on Blu-ray, and it was effective enough to cause Warner to simply cancel (or at least postpone for several years) the release.

Some might question the ethics of bashing a title that hasn't even been released yet, but this seems to be the only way for the paying customer to be heard with any kind of volume.

Also some people might not even realize that a 3d version exists . Maybe with negative type feedback the companies like Amazon might asked the distributors for more 3d releases .

- this is my policy and I am absolutely religious about it. I would have bought Spacehunter, I would have bought Starchaser, I would have bought The Creeps, I would have bought Hondo, I would have bought Money From Home, I would have bought Trolls, I would have bought Mission Impossible Fallout. I didn't buy any of them. Not in 2d. I cannot support such releases.

Were it something I absolutely must have (which has yet to happen), I would seek out a second-hand copy. They are not getting a penny from me, not a euro, not one dime. On an individual level this makes little difference, but collectively we should aim to stick together as much as possible whether it makes a difference or not.

I feel a bit weird about the one-star votes on Amazon, but it might be the single most effective way to make our voices heard on the matter at this point.

I feel like a petition to save 3D Blu-ray is the best way to go. It could be presented to studios and retailers alike. Anyone have experience with online petitions? Think there are enough of us 3D fans to make an impact?

I feel like the best solution is to encourage studios to release Ultimate Editions with 4k, 3D, 2D, and digital or DVD. I would happily pay for such a release.

Online petitions do nothing except *maybe* make you feel like you did. It's preaching to the choir.

If you want to make any impact at all you flood a studio's Facebook page, or better yet send actual hand-written mail.

Name a single PETITION about a Home Theater product that accomplished anything. Something happening at some random time after a petition goes around ("Why not release "TITLE"" doesn't count.

A single handwritten letter has 100000 times the effect b/c it will actually get read. A direct phone call or face to face meeting will amplify that even more.
99% Emails and online petitions are flushed before they ever hit any decision makers front door.

A sackful of $10M with 250K pay up front buyers delivered in person for the promise of releasing a specific disc will accomplish the most.

Yes, I don't bother with the first two options.

The third one is the only one that really works.

I'm with you 13th Man on this one! "No 3D = No Sale"

Preach on my fellow 3D blu-ray collectors!

I would just like to thank Warner Bros. and Universal for keep releasing them though.

Warner has not announced a 3-D Blu-ray release for THEY SHALL NOT GROW OLD, so you may have to temper your gratitude.

No 3D, no sale is right. I refuse to upgrade to 8K TVs until they release a model that can do 3D.

I'll stick with my 3D capable 4K TV for the next decade if that's what it takes. And I'm the kind of person who doesn't mind dropping $5,000 on a new TV.

What an utterly BONEHEADED decision by the TV manufacturers not to produce any models that can do 3D.

No 3D, no sale!

8K is a joke. It's honestly the SACD of the HD world. Everything will be upscaled.
