im digging the steelbook, mostly because it's pretty rare to see one with a full pink background like that and its not that the background is pink but has a design as well (think its supposed to look like snake scales).

BUT i've never ordered a Kimchi exclusive, so can someone enlighten me, Can i order from there to the US or is this more of a group buy thing?

This one is a bit odd. Really enjoy the movie but i dont know how i feel about the steel itself. Seems to not really fit the movie at all.

This is one of my favorite movies and most disappointing discs. The BD has a subpar transfer and zero extras, so my version at home is a "custom" with the DVDs that has all the special features and the full length doc. But I would love to get a new transfer and the special features in HD. I do agree though, the steel sort of blows.

Not a fan of the steelbook design. I think it’s pretty ugly, too. Maybe it’s better in person though. A nice slip might sway me.

I have a Canadian steelbook with Seth holding a gun on the front. It came all dinged up, but I was more interested in the transfer, that I read was better than the American release. I would love to see this get a remastered release for it's 25th Anniversary, but with Harvey raping chicks and beating off on plants, I'm not sure we'll be seeing anything anytime soon.

I like the snakeskin pattern but pink? Would be much better if it were black or andark green. The pink and the red text clash pretty bad. I said earlier “I’m in” but now I’m deciding on if I want it because I just want a Steelbook if this movie or if I really do like the art or not. I guess price will make the decision for me.

Would be cool if the snakeskin scales were all embossed/debossed.

I missed out on the "Selma" Steel when it was available but purchased the Canuck "Clooney" Steel and as mentioned previously, the Amaray with the extras.
As this will be a Kimchi 'exclusive' I feel confident they're gonna have a very sweet Lenti cover (probably great FS as well) so this particular Steel's cover will not sway me as much as the slips.
It is kinda cheesy cool though...

(sort of has a "Desperado" type charm to it, heh).

edit: Remember, "The On" did 'Pans Lab' right!

that is exactly what I will do if they have some nice slips, I will get it and put my zavvi steel in the slip... the more I look at this steel the worse it gets, it's pretty horrid in my opinion what were they thinking

The Alliance steelbook is much better. This one is rather odd. Also I'm not sure which blu ray is included with this steelbook but the Alliance blu ray is much better. It has all of the dvd special features and better PQ too
