If your UV title is only available on Flixster:
-------------------------------------------------------------

1) Wait 24 hours after your intial UV redemption.

2) Check your UVVU UltraViolet Library/Locker to make sure the title is available in your UV Library. If not, contact Flixster about getting the title refreshed or re-entered because it's not showing up in your UV locker. Do not mention it's a foreign UV in your support request. The title can't have a chance to port to Vudu until it's in your UV library. Repeat steps 1 and 2 until the title shows up in your UV library.

3) UV title still not showing in your Vudu account? Unlink and relink your UV account inside your Vudu account. Under your Vudu account name, select the Account information tab, and then the Ultraviolet Library Manage button.

* Is your title even available in the US UV catalog?
If there is no USA UV ALID availability, the title can't be ported to Vudu via your UV library. This isn't a case of an ALID mismatch between countries. It's a title that doesn't have UV eligibility in the USA. One method for determining USA UV eligibility, use Vudu search for the title, click on the title. Look for the UV symbol. If Vudu displays the title but not a UV symbol, more than likely you've just found a title that is not currently available in the US UV catalog. It's not going to port because it can not port to your service or country without UV eligibility and a corresponding ALID.

4) Last resort: You can contact Vudu customer support or Flixster customer support, and request help with refreshing the title. Sometimes they will fix the UV ALID to reflect an USA UV ALID. This action is left up to the discretion of the Customer Service Representative you are dealing with and how you present your case. Avoid mentioning the title is from another country, which is only going to hurt your chance of success. The Customer Service Representative is under no obligation to alter your non-USA UV ALID to an USA ALID. Your mileage is going to vary here and success will be a long shot. However, some users have reported a small degree of success by asking for a "refresh" on your title that is not showing up.

* What does ALID mean?
Asset Logical IDentifier. The average Customer Service Representative doesn't know what the acronym stands for either and neither should you.
IE: Play dumb.

UV Territorial Issues And Oddities

Australia: Australian UVs should always work in New Zealand. But some New Zealand UVs may not work for Australia

Benelux: Belgium UVs, The Netherlands UVs, and Luxembourg UVs will always work in these 3 countries. Sometimes they will work in France.

Canada: Universal, Paramount, and Disney have been reported to redeem without the need of a proxy or VPN in the USA. While Fox Studios UVs require a proxy but Fox iTunes redeems do not. (Change the location flag tab on the Fox redeem page to get iTunes without a VPN/Proxy)

France: French UVs will always work in Switzerland, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg. However, this does not work in reverse. Meaning UVs from Switzerland, Belguim, The Netherlands, and Luxembourg may not always work in France or Germany.

Germany: Some German DVD/Blu-Ray UVs are also sold in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. German UVs will always work in Switzerland and Austria. However, not all UVs from Austria or Switzerland will work in Germany.

Ireland: All UK UVs should work in Ireland. However, some Irish UVs will not work in the UK.

The USA UV Working Port List and Non-Working Port List may apply to your own country in reverse.
We need more information and reports from users to ascertain if this is indeed a fact.

For Example: If you know the UK version of "The World's End" does not port from the UK to the USA via Vudu. There is a likelihood that the US UV of "The World's End" will not port to a UK Streaming service either because of the known ALID mismatches.

You should be able to test the US UV eligility by logging out of all of your UV services or using a browser that you never log into your UV services on. I use Opera for this.

Then try to redeem the code via a us redeem without a proxy on uvvu, then click vudu and see if it asks you to log in.

again, be 100% sure you are logged out of uvvu and vudu/flxister before you start.

while it wont tell you if it will port via an alid match. you might get lucky on it not needing a proxy. someone on the first page said with fox canadian uv codes you tended to need a proxy, but you never know..

I just redeemed the UK codes for the first 6 Fast & Furious movies and only 1, 2, 4, and 5 transferred to Vudu. Tokyo Drift (Fast and Furious 3) and Fast and Furious 6 did not transfer.

I haven't tried these, only reported them as they were in the old thread. Will change them to reflect your information. Were these from individual codes or one code for the complete seres?

I have to ask, are the kickass codes dvd or bluray? I personally did the kick-ass 2 uk code and it came from a bluray and ported last year. Wondering if it's a dvd vs bluray uv issue or something else. As in some codes before a date will work and other codes after a manufacturer date will not.
