Heavenly Bodies (1984)

I caught this on TCM recently and had a blast with it. Calling it a ripoff of Flashdance is selling it a bit short in my opinion, but it certainly tried to cash-in on that film's success. But fortunately, it ended up being way more bonkers and over the top than I think it probably tried to be, and as a result, it's a very campy little gem that's a lot of fun.

There was talk on the Vinegar Syndrome thread in December that this could be a good fit for them (particularly their VSU line), but I don't think that was based on anything concrete. When it played on TCM it included the MGM fanfare, so it seems like they're the rights holders. It would be so great to see this get an HD release - does anyone have any insight into the likelihood of that?
