what you said. If a disc has forced subtitles, I think it means the subtitles
are always on the screen, you can't turn them off. Would you please
double-check the disc, and tell me if the disc has forced subtitles?

There definitely aren't forced subtitles.

I have yet to encounter any disc that has forced English subs if the movie is in English. France forces French subs all the time, all others are optional.
I don't have this title, but will bet anything the subs are optional and not forced.

I have it, watched it last fall, there were no forced subtitles. Did not have to turn them off either, as suggested by another user above.
