Default Did my job (now where is my check?)

Was at best buy earlier and was showing my dad the new blu-ray players. When a guy next me picked up an HD DVD player. I looked right him and said you sure you want to by that. You will never watch 75% of all movies ever made. I told him about warner and all that. Then I walked him and I guess his father off to the movie section and showed him the difference in size. Then an employee came over and helped me out.

Turns out my best buy sells 30 blu-ray players (standalones) to just 1 hd dvd player. They only have 2 left and will not be getting anymore shipped.

I'm discussing quite often with a sales assistant at FNAC in France, last time I talked about a presentation showing on the HD TVs on the floor above, showing images from Corpse bride, Batman begins, Constantine and Blue dragon.
I told him it was misleading to the customers, as Warner will not be releasing HD DVD movies after may. He said the presentation it was the job of the majors to inform the retailers and all sales assistants were informed of the situation, and this presentation's goal was only to show the picture quality to sell the HD TVs, but he understands it can be misleading.
He told me he tries to inform the customers Blu-ray is winning but some still buy HD DVDs anyway, he told me before that the HD DVD disaply will disappear as time goes on anyway.
I went to another shop who seels more books but DVDs too, they had about as much HD DVDs and Blu-rays until last week, I looked at the display and saw about 10 HD DVDs and no Blu-rays ... then watched just under and saw 50 Blu-rays.
Retailers are beginning to understand in France, but HD DVD never had a big place anyway.
