I'm sure this has been raised, but I'm not seeing a quick answer. If I redeem a digital code from a Blu-Ray on iTunes for a film that is available in 4K on iTunes but has no 4K UHD physical release, will the code redeem for a 4K or HD version? There are a few Blu Ray releases--UNCUT GEMS, WAVES, HARRIET--that have 4K versions on iTunes but weren't released in 4K physically. Thanks!

Good chance, yeah, although I've been pretty pleased with the quality of 4K streams from iTunes lately. The bigger difference, to my eyes/ears, is the soundtrack--the iTunes audio just can't compete with the richness of a physical disc (unless, of course, it's a Disney disc...).

If it has an itunes redemption, then yes - it will give you the highest rights that is on itunes at the time. Most Movies Anywhere studios for newer movies do not have an itunes redemption though. Usually only lionsgate and paramount will have an itunes redemption option for newer movies.
