Default Berlin: Symphony To A Great City

I would like to see Walter Ruttmann's 1927 silent classic Berlin: Symphony To A Great City as a Criterion BD release. Great period piece.

They may not satisfy your aesthetic requirements of blu-ray cover art, but Flicker Alley is doing a blu-ray of Berlin: Symphony to a Great City:

Only caveat is it might be a BD-R since it is listed on their site as a MOD title.

My brother and I watched this for the first time awhile back and loved it. Can't wait to see it on Blu-ray.

The blu-ray is out now, I guess. I just caught an announcement on Facebook. Looks like it launched on September 18th. It’s an MOD, but I trust Flicker Alley’s presentation will look great. Their site says it’s a 2k scan from 16mm prints and still features the Timothy Brock score (which is a major plus). I just ordered my copy, so I can’t wait to get my hands on it and see how it is.

I'm surprised that I can't find any reviews of this. What do you think of the quality of the restoration?

Bump.

I don't want to waste my money if it's not particularly better than the DVD.
