Default no Blu-ray for Indiana Jones for now

We heard that they were going to release the movies individually before. Just hope they release them on Blu-ray when the last movie comes to DVD. Somehow I doubt it will considering how long it took for the sd-dvds to even come out in the first place. I think Lucas needs to reconsider his planning for home media.

I'll rent them if I have to because I won't buy the DVDs. I sold the collection over a year ago hoping for a high definition release. My prediction is a Blu-ray box set for Christmas 2008. It makes total sense marketing-wise.

I still think we'll see at LEAST KOTCS on Blu-ray at the same time the DVD comes out. I don't think Lucas, or Spielberg, is that stupid.

Not much point in fretting about this considering the DVD releases are right around the corner and weren't going to come out in HD on any format.

I'd wait until IJ4 is ready for home video release before wondering whether or not the other three movies will also be coming.

Considering the DVDs are coming out in May... before KotCS opens in theaters... doubtful.

But yeah, we'll likely see the other three on Blu this Fall/Winter when KotCS hits DVD/BLU.

These DVDs have been out for five years. I'm sure there will be another box set with all four, and probably the Blu-ray box set, released in time for the holidays, maybe a few months before.

They're not a straight repackaging. The press release notes that they're getting new content.

All-new bonus content delves into the making of the legendary series as the filmmakers and cast look back and a new world of adventure opens up with Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and others offering hints about what to expect in the newest installment.

All it's talking about is the individaul reissues on DVD in May. It means nothing and has been discussed before. Any Blu-ray release would be in the form or a quadrilogy box anyway
