Hello
I have a 2017 LG OLED that I just noticed started having weird color distortion. Attached is a picture. I ran the pixel refresher and it didn’t work. Does anyone know what this is and how to solve it? I don’t know if this is the infamous burn in but my tv wasn’t stuck on one image for several hours. https://www.imageupload.net/image/9b...c25786f1.dqV3J Last edited by strife1013; 05-14-2020 at 11:48 AM. |

Looks more like failure of some sort than burn in.
Do you have any warranty? If so, time to use it. |

Go to YouTube and search for a "Burn In test" and if it pretty much shows up in every colour looking the same or so, then it could be a fault in the panel itself rather than burn in specifically. Usually the tell tale signs of burn in are static images and stuff that resembles something you'd watch. That looks like a generic blob.
