Very impressed with Mill Creek's disc count here. 20 discs gives each ~22 episode season 3 discs and the ~15 episode seasons 2 discs, leaving disc 20 unaccounted for (maybe a special features disc?). The Fabulous films Season 1 set had 3 discs so for once Mill Creek seems to actually beat Fabulous Films in all aspects -- will have to wait and see whether or not they find a way to screw it up.

Interestingly, the DVD version currently claims to have only 16 discs, so I wonder if Mill Creek mixed up the disc counts, meaning that the Blu-ray is only 16 discs? The PDF sell sheets have the same disc counts, but obviously, it makes very little sense for the Blu-ray to have more discs than the DVD:

I think they mixed them up. All DVDs together is 20 total. At least with the UK box set. American DVDs total is 19.

But maybe they both will be 20 or 16, since Community had the same amount of discs for both formats.

I loved this show!! I'm constantly quoting it in my head (seldom out loud, as I fear not many people I know will get the references.) Pending favorable reports of its technical merits, etc., I will definitely purchase this set. I had all but given up hope for a Blu-ray release.

Even if it's 16, that should be more than enough. They'll likely split it evenly (or as evenly as they can) for each season for two discs per season like they did with Community and Happy Endings. One season had 13 and one had 15, so they might be tempted to cram all of those on one disc... but if that's the case, that's 12 discs. Splitting the smaller episode count seasons in half would still only be 14 discs.

I mean, it’s gonna have Mill Creek compression no matter what. The good thing is that it shouldn’t look worse than it does on streaming(it was on Netflix for many years before moving to Hulu).

The spine of the Blu-ray art on page 1 says "20-disc set" on it, and the DVD art on the MC website visibly says "16-disc set."

The Mill Creek sell sheet says “Bonus Features include Commentaries, Deleted Scenes, Gag Reels and more!” ...so I’m guessing all the DVD extras are coming over:

SO EXCITING! The streaming episodes were already in pretty good shape so higher bitrates can only improve things. Loving that Mill Creek is not giving up on comedy on blu-ray.

Was just telling someone the other day I hoped Mill Creek would release this! Complete sets of Parks & Rec, Schitt's Creek, and The Good Place would definitely be welcome too..

This is great news. As long as the compression is good and the episodes have lossless original 5.1 audio, I will definitely be getting this set.

The Good Place probably is with Shout! for now since they released DVDs of the first 3 seasons.

I wouldn't hold my breath on lossless audio since the UK set for season 1 was lossy. But here's hoping!

We got lossless audio with Community and Happy Endings so there is hope and precedence!
