Fantastic!

What titles you got? Ever thought about framing them? I’m just starting to dig some of mine out to get them framed and on the wall, bloody expensive though to do it right.

I used to collect posters.

1) When I had a lightbox for my HT, I would buy double sided posters off ebay.

2) As a kid, I loved the look of insert posters, so again with my previous HT I started to collect and frame some of my insert posters to hang in the hallway leading up to the HT.

When downsized our home last year. It was a royal pain finding buyers, shipping etc both the unframed and framed posters. I still have some double sided posters mostly of Star Wars series shelved away in a art portfolio case like this:

The only posters I collect and at very limited numbers would be music gig posters. I'm really only interested in posters from Hatch Show Print in Nashville or anything Springsteen (concert) related.

Hatch show has produced 6 posters for Springsteen:

Ghost of Tom Joad Tour (only given out to personnel associated with the tour)
Doubletake Mag. Benefit Show (show poster)
Devils and Dust Solo Show (show poster)
The Cover for the reunion Live Album (these were mock ups for the eventual cover-limited to Hatch and Landau staff)
2008 Tour Nashville Show (show poster)
SXSW Show and Talk (limited to display posters at SXSW)

The Devils and Dust poster is the only one I'm missing.

I had close to 300 from my days at AMC. I tried selling/trading the majority of them but had no interest. So I tossed most of them except for about 80 or so that I wanted for myself.

Also surprised that Ron Boster didn't link you to this already existing thread.

I have some of my favorites. I also really like the international movie posters, especially the unusual artwork on movie posters from Poland or Germany.

Had a bunch while in college such as originals of the BTTF trilogy, among others. My stepdad at the time apparently wasn't amused with me storing them in his basement and they were thrown out at some point.

Good catch on the link. I don't frequent that subforum, so didn't see it. So you got me on that one.

Since the OP just stated "posters" in the title, I took the liberty of adding to the discussion about gig posters etc.

As far the cardboard storage box I'm using...not sure. I'll do a count tonight on what I have in one of the boxes and post. I've had them for years, they hold up quite well. I just stick them under the guest room bed to store.

It's definitely a cheaper option than the portfolio I linked. I might have to go that route..

I need more posters. At the moment I have a handful of Evangelion theatrical posters. and my lone hollywood poster of Demi Moore in Striptease International version.

I would like to get Elizabeth (Cate Blanchett), Dark Crystal, Labyrinth and a few more Demi posters.

Yeah, I want to frame them but need the right situation (my own place) to do it and would do it, and a few at a time (cost reasons).
