If it ever does get released hopefully they might reinstate Andy Garcia's scenes as Louanne's love interest that were filmed but cut from the finished film.

Same with Dead Presidents.

While not a Pfeiffer flick, it also only had a bare-bones non-anamorphic dvd in the US, both from Hollywood Pictures under Dimension. Thankfully I have a nice loaded custom (and anamorphic) dvd from the DP Criterion laserdisc. DM never had a nice release at all I find.

I just want to comment that Chéri (Netherlands) blu-ray is indeed Region A playable. I heard it was Region Free, but I can’t confirm that or Region C. Just watched it too. Good role for her.
