Though if David Ayer's previous HDR grades on his films are anything to go by e.g. Suicide Squad then it's no great loss, he loves that thin low-contrast look.

That said, I don’t expect HDR here. I believe the iTunes 4K preorder (while it was still up) was SDR. Plus after the Galveston debacle I think RLJE is afraid of HDR. |

COOS didn't have HDR because it wasn't possible with the budget and post facility used by the production. The facility used is not equipped for today's full feature production work and is mostly used for localization jobs and TV/indie work, like the film. If the Director does another release down the line, to go with the other planned films, it will most likely get an HDR grade.
