I think this may have actually been my highlight of the show, such a radical evolution to the gameplay but it all looks like Oddsworld. I actually had my jaw on the ground when this showed.

Never did really get into the Oddworld games. Nonetheless, this was one of the more impressive games shown today.

So excited for this one! Love Oddworld games. Mind you, I had an easier (better) time playing on a PC as a kid than on any console... so will have to see how this one goes. Interested in the new abilities and haptic DualSense feedback though!

This is really cool. I probably wouldn't have picked this up, just because there's a fair bit in my backlog, but I'll definitely add it to my collection now.

I played an Oddworld game on PS1 I believe for the console; it was a long time ago and thought it was interesting, but never finished it. I like the concept anyway. The narrow passageways in the factory for some reason don't appeal to me though. I always wished it was more open but the whole concept is to escape the bad guys turning Abe and his kind into packaged lunch meat products.

This one looks more open which is a plus.

Serious props to the founder of the game for giving it free on launch. Oddworld is very nostalgic for me, so I’m loving this news.

Those editions look so nice. However, given that it's free in a couple of days for Plus members I don't know how well they'll sell.

Yeah feels a tad reckless to give the game out for free on release and then expect people to buy not one but two different collectors editions.

I know there will be hardcore fans who’ll want the collectors items, but the title is fairly niche and they’d be better off just selling the statue alone.

I think my PS+ JUST expired... but my question is, do I need to be on a PS5 to redeem this for free? I still haven't been able to find a PS5...

You can redeem all the games on PS+ through the app if you don’t have a PS5. That’s what I’ve been doing over the last couple months.
