Special Ops Sniper Brandon Beckett (Chad Michael Collins) is set-up as the primary suspect for the murder of a foreign dignitary on the eve of signing a high-profile trade agreement with the United States. Narrowly escaping death, Beckett realizes that there may be a dark operative working within the government and partners with the only person whom he can trust, his father legendary Sniper Sgt. Thomas Beckett (Tom Berenger). Both Becketts are on the run from the CIA, Russian Mercenaries, and a Yakuza-trained assassin with sniper skills that rival both legendary sharp shooters.

Looked it up, this is Sniper #8.

I haven't seen any of them. I own the first four digitally (got InstaWatch from buying my dad a multi-pack years ago), so I should probably check them out.

This has the best picture quality out of the 8 installments - primarily because A: it's newly shot and B: 5 or 6 of these films are not even on bluray (dvd or digital). These 8 films however, are not to be linked with that horrid Sniper: Spec Op's with Steven Seagal - who should just go home and stop what he's doing.

This is not a terrible film. I just love most things Sniper related so I have a fondness for these movies. I liked it. Is it in my top 10? Hell no but it's not in my bottom 10 either.

I just ordered all 8 Sniper movies.
Five (ugh) DVDs and Three Blu-rays.
Hope the series is good!
