Default Getting to know you...

let's talk...what movie did you love the most as a child and why?

For me it was Killer Klowns From Outerspace..mom "accidentally" let me watch it as a child and I fell in love with it. Couldn't get enough of watching it.

Now how about you guys?

For me it was Shaun of the Dead
Probably seen it at least 5 times, definitely my favorite movie up until high school

The Resident Evil movies are also a guilty pleasure of mine

My favorite movie of all time is *Halloween* (1978). It was the movie that jumpstarted my love for horror films, and it’s all my parent’s fault for being totally irresponsible! (They are actually great parents, but...well...let me continue.)

When I was a child in the ‘80s. Based on the location of where we lived at the time, I must have been 5...maybe 6 years old at the oldest, my parents and their friends had a party. While they were all doing what grownups do at parties, they sat us kids in front of the TV, not even paying attention to what was on (or maybe they knew, but didn’t care?). It was, you guessed it...*Halloween*. lol

One of my earliest childhood memories was formed. Annie Wilkes, accidentally locking herself in the laundry room and getting stuck in the window with the feeling of knowing that the killer was out there.

Later, my parents would also own a VHS copy of the 1981 camp slasher movie *The Burning* and let me watch it whenever I wanted. I was probably only 9 or 10 at that point. lol #MutantFam

I loved the "Land before Time" film series in my early childhood (~6-10y?) and digged the Harry Potter series later on, but both I haven't watched since then, so can't elaborate how I'd like them now.

New poster here. Other than the thread that I posted in to just say hello and that I'm a noob to the forums here, but not to the site itself...Blu-ray.com has loooong been my go to resource for practically all the info I ever get or need.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and Batman in the summer of '89 were the films responsible for single handedly turning me from a little kid who watched movies here and there to someone who actively began seeking out and devouring any and all films that I could. I've been chasing the Last Crusade/Batman high ever since then. They made toys irrelevant. They made video games and cartoons irrelevant. Went from 0 to cinephile in 2 films and never looked back..
