I've a couple of tape recorders back in the day. That gadget must be old because I can't imagine anybody revert back to mini-cassette and videotapes.

I’m just wondering if anyone on this forum ever used or even heard of this format back in its day. I think I might just be the first person on the entire Internet ever to start a forum thread about this completely obscure format. I too used Microcassette machines back in the day but have just now heard of this format, courtesy of YouTube user databits.

Actually a lot business men and women ( especially attorneys) used those mini-recorders to record important communications with their clients. Actors and actresses were using them in scenes in their old movies as well.

You’ve probably heard of or even used the Microcassette, which is what most of these recorders used, or maybe even the Mini-cassette, which also rivaled the Microcassette, but I bet you’ve never even heard of the format described in databits’ video seen above. Watch through his entire video and you’ll know what I mean.

I've heard of the Sankyo Micro-Mini before, but have never actually seen one or owned one. I would imagine there aren't too many of them around anymore...

I know what they are, people called and referred to them as different names, the same as some people call blu-rays DVDs, records as vinyl and so forth, but it was basically used for the same reasons.
