Default Help me with YouTube.

Hi

I would like to ask if some of you had found videos on true 8K on YouTube, in true HDR, and in true 60fps.

The Youtube videos titled as 8K I had run in a 4K TV had resolution selections just up to 2160p, instead of 4320p of true 8K, and it wasn't 60fps, since when I set speed to 0.25X I could easily cont frames, like tac tac tac tac, like it was 6 frames per second.
And the supposed HDR didn't look HDR to me.

I would like to know if in USA Yuotube allows true 8K resolution video in true 60fps.

Personally I don't think those alleged 8K videos on Youtube are really in 8K at all, because there is no substantiated evidence. Anybody can post HD and 4K videos anywhere and claim it to be 8K. Computer geeks can do all sorts of image trickery on the internet, and claim it be something that it's not.

Yes, you are right, and there is also the fact that video compression kills a lot of fine details in 4K videos from youtube. People will only realise how bad video compression handle images when they saw an uncompressed UHD video.

But the point is that even if some trickers shoot in 4K or 6K, and add some filters to get more sharpness after upscale to 8K, the Youtube video player settings only shows options to sellect video resolution up to 2160p. At least in my country...

Do you see option to sellect 4320p on youtrube video player in your system, in your country?

I think your problem is using your 4KTV to view 8K videos. Even 8K TVs have trouble playing back 8K videos on Youtube, let alone 4K TVs. You would probably have better luck playing them on a PC, even with a 1080p screen. There definitely are videos on Youtube that play at 8K resolution but you won't be able to watch them in 8K on a TV.

I tried again a lof of 4K on youtube yesterday. All crap to me, a lot of feeling of blured or soft textures, like if a low resolution image was converted to HD in Photoshop. An uncompressed true 1080p scanned from A good negatives would have more fine textures than most of such 4K clips.

People are fooled with any crap nowadays, like brainwashing. If media and heavy marketing show a cat and repeat it's a dog, invest millions, people will end beliveing it's a dog.

Vídeo compression only became worse with time, I mean they force it to revoltant levels, like killing more than 50% of details, and people accept it or don't notice cause they sit far from screen or cause a stupid technician said to sit far. In SD in CRT TVs era, a drop of 50% in quality would revolt people, but digital age made people stupid, made the watch a horas and thing : " Ohh, I have UHD largue screen in home."
Vídeo compression screw-up with textures with any light motion, and you also have screw up from TVs motion blur. In the end, film characters need to play statue if you want to see some texture and details.

No surprise if 8K clips and films, when arrive, will have less textures and fine details than a uncompressed 4k or even than a uncompressed 3K .

I wonder why society have no self respect today, to accept to such giant lies.

In times of analogic, if you had a good signal reception, you would nos have such giantl loss of textures, not such loss of 60% of quality. Not this "GIVE AND TAKE BACK" effect related to even light motion. With digital compression even fade out make details vanish before the image turn dark. The fade-out start and the textures of the shirt became blur immediately.
