Default NBC's Kenan

Looks like there wasn't a thread for this show staring Kenan Thompson. It's pilot episode aired yesterday after "Young Rock". Not sure if both shows will be paired going forward but I enjoyed this and Young Rock.

I watched this, but to be honest, the horrible camera work was driving me nuts.

Was I the only one that noticed how the shots were zooming in and out with no purpose? As well as weird whip pans and jusy felt like it was shot by film school students.

I love Kenan and Don Johnson, but that pilot was a let down not just in the poor camera work and editing (that opening scene cut like 50 times between Kenan and his kids) but the comedy wasn't that great either.

Because I love Kenan, I will give it one more episode to see if it was just a bad pilot before getting into a groove, but if it doesn't grip me, I'll be out. There is another show kn CBS about a guy who lost his wife and is raising 2 daughters, The Unicorn, and that one is pretty solid.

On the plus side, Young Rock was really good, so 1 out of 2 of the new shows ain't bad!
