They didn't give much away today, but it's supposed to be a live service game the same as Destiny. Should be a great show for MS tomorrow, the Scorpio graphics look set to be stunning.

I think that this will be one of those 3rd part games that offer extra content to the platform holder, like the way PS4 gets exclusive content in Destiny, I'm sure MS will have grabbed some exclusive content for this one since that seems to be their weakest point right now. They need more games and exclusive content. They have also dropped the exclusive Ultimate Team from FIFA now too, so maybe they dropped that for this.

Cool to see a 3rd person view. I thought it would be first person only. Anthem looks awesome. Hopefully there's an offline option too.

Look interesting. Not enough to go on for me to be excited yet though. I know this isn't the Andromeda team, but I couldn't help but notice tons of similarities in regards to animations and combat gameplay. I'm sure it'll end up a lot better, but I have tons of these "open world endless RPGs with friends" on my plate as it is.

In that development hell article about Andromida, didn't they basically say everything we now see that they're doing in this game is hard to do in Frostbite? That would explain the similarities. Maybe that's why this game has been in development for so long?

Single player does not necessarily translate to offline. Much of Destiny and The Division can be single player, but the games are still obligate online games.

I thought the teaser looked interesting and definitely saw it looking a little like Destiny meets Titanfall in vibe. Yet to watch the gameplay but think it will be quite good. Even Andromeda for all its flaws, it seemed a decent game. Just not a day one pick up and thankfully removed from the first trilogy which largely was great with a weak sauce ending.

Visually stunning, but gameplay-wise, early days. I sincerely hope there's more to it than just wandering around that planet and getting into randomly generated scrapes. Had enough of that shit in Andromeda.

All a bit 'meh' for me.

So they confirmed single player in some way. Hopefully your AI teammates will lend a hand during the tough battles. I can definitely see this as a story driven open world game with RPG style, considering this is from Bioware of Mass Effect and other RPGs. This was the game of the show for me.

Bioware Anthem Details (XB1, PS4): Release Date: 2018 confirmed as their goal. Probably late 2018.
-Big open world for players to explore
-Hub city center to gain new missions
-Javelin exo suit for flight, walking, running, diving, jumping, brute force, variety of suits.
-Diverse array of enemies
-Great conflict in the world, including humans or monsters
-People need the exo suit to deal with the new dangers of the world.
-You play the hero.
-Combat: Rifles, weapon gear, missiles, etc
-Telling a great Bioware story, with freedom to explore your own stories too
-Plan is to allow game to be expanded later for months, years (DLC)
-"Can you play through the game entirely by yourself, do what you want?" "Absolutely".
-Release Date, 2018
