Are there any reviews for the PQ on this, or has anyone bought it and would like to comment how it looks?

I haven't seen it in stores and amazon has it listed as a June 1 release now. Don't know why the date changed like that.

Other members here have said they got shipping notices from Amazon, so we should be reading opinions soon.

Just for the fun of it while I was browsing on Ebay yesterday I noticed some sellers had a picture of this in a green blu-ray case. Wonder what the case wil lactually be when I get it from Amazon. If it's in a blu case I do have one green one. If they do come in green cases and some of you don't want the green cases I will be more than happy to trade with you for a blu case.

Whatever you think of Troma, there are some great films in their catalog:

COMBAT SHOCK (just released on Blu by Severin with an awesome 4k restoration)
CRY UNCLE!
DEF BY TEMPTATION
THE LAST HORROR FILM
LUTHER THE GEEK
MAD DOG MORGAN
MOTHER'S DAY
STORY OF A JUNKIE

Also, without Troma, you wouldn't have Studio Ghibli films in the US. They were the first to release a Ghibli film domestically, MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO.

You're right about Mother's Day and Luther The Geek. I don't know why I don't associate those titles with Troma films. I was thinking more in terms of titles from Troma Proper, if you will-
Toxic Avengers, Tromeo & Juliet, Sgt. Kabukiman, Troma's War and the likes. I was never really able to get into those. And don't get me wrong, I love that Troma exists. I like what they do, but the movies are not entirely to my liking.
Oh, you can also add Rabid Grannies to a Troma movie I like. I forgot about that one. Good stuff

Wow, just went to purchase Grannies but I see it's a mess of a release.

Troma's War, Bloodsucking Freaks, Cannibal! The Musical, and Terror Firmer are my favorites, I hope the latter two get released on blu-ray already. Life long Troma fan, I love the hell out of this company and have since I was in like sixth grade

CANNIBAL! is unlikely, as elements are missing.

Proud owner of the OOP Arrow Video blu-ray, which looks and sounds great.

In fact, all of my Troma blus (this, Combat Shock, the Toxic Avengers films and Tromeo & Juliet) are from companies that aren't Troma themselves.

I'm wondering if Troma will update its catalog in 4k?

Why can you find the Director's Cut of this new for $15 but the original first print is over $50? Is it simply because the first run is oop or is there something wrong with the unrated one?
