I think you forgot to italicize the film's title.

I really enjoyed this movie. Perhaps not as much as past Laika films, but still really fun, and top notch stop-motion work. I saw it in a theater filled with kids too, which really made it a greater joy to see.

My favorite anectode from that is when they showed a vinyl record in the movie, one of the kids sitting next to me asked the other kid what that was, and he replied nonchalantly "that's a CD"

really enjoyed this one. The 3D isn't great though it has a few good moments. Not their best work but the art direction really sold me on it

I agree - the 3D didn't wow me.

I picked up the 3D version today since my daughter loved this one in theaters. There was certainly no price cut to be had on this one though. It was $27.99 everywhere, even Amazon.

This has the dreaded (IMO) combo 3D/2D disc. Just so everyone knows ahead of time that both versions are on one disc. Bummer.

According to the review here it doesn't seem to matter much. Universal did the same thing with Coraline and ParaNorman so this is no surprise.

Watched this last night. Not much going on with the storyline...but the stop-motion is pretty amazing. Glad I have it, as I am in awe of all the work done behind the scenes.

When I went to Best Buy on Tuesday at lunch they had plenty of the 2D, but only two of the 3D. I'm I went when I did.

This is now on sale in 3D at Best Buy, and Amazon is much higher in price. I remember they used to have on the item page a link where you could show Amazon that there is a lower price, I can't find it on this item. Does anyone know if they stopped providing that?

Does anyone notice that the black levels are very washed out? I am playing the 2d/3d combo (the version of the film with both 2d/3d on the same disk) through my PS4 and it is very washed out and the blacks are... well, gray... It matches when I am calibrating my tv and the black levels are messed up, I turn down the brightness to compensate (52 -> 30ish on my Sony tv) and it looks correct. Playing the 2D version. Going to check the DVD and digital download against this but it looks wrong to me. All other movies look correct so I don't think it's my tv, possibly the PS4 not getting the right black level flag?

Anyone else?
