Fans have been patiently waiting for the return of the trippy comedy, which will drop in the US later this month – slightly sooner that arriving on E4 in the UK – with all the episode titles already being revealed.

Producer Scott Marder, writer Dan Harmon and Spencer Grammer – aka the voice of Summer – have now suggested Rick and Morty will eventually make it to the big screen.

‘It’d be daunting, I wouldn’t be shocked if there was one that comes down the pipe one day,’ said Scott.

I feel like every episode is a movie. I’d like to see what a movie would be, I feel like we pack so much in.

‘It’d have to be pretty epic.’

Spencer explained: ‘It’d have to be something so big – like a 3D interactive movie that also has a theme park. I don’t know if you could just do a straight movie.

‘There are those 4D movie theatres in New York City.’

‘I think it will happen,’ said Scott. ‘I do think it will happen.’

I, on the other hand, wouldn't be shocked if a movie was never made, considering American studios' aversion to 2D animated features.

That's why I didn't add that it was "confirmed" or that "it is coming" in the title. But it's a possibility and this thread will always be here IF that day happens.

He still does Feature Length movies and also in TV shows. Though yes those roles wouldn’t put him in Sci-Fi Action situations but he isn’t like Retired from Acting.

Skyrim had a live action trailer but it didn't mean we got a live action Skyrim movie, as much as I would've loved that.
