This is an absolute dream come true!!! I have been waiting for this on Blu for SO LONG!!

Thank you Fabulous for bringing my two all time favourite Steve Martin movies to blu-ray FINALLY!!!

This is down to £8.99 on HMV.com. Also Bird on a Wire and K-9 from Mediumrare are now £11.99 each.

This might be a rare case of the dvd being better then the blu. I had the Italian release and though it looked better the classic scenes stuck out more and looked less blended in with the more recently filmed stuff. Im curious to see how this looks.

Watched this again on DVD recently, still hilarious. Will be upgrading soon.

One thing that's regrettable about this not being seen as a comedy classic in most cinephile circles - we probably won't ever see this film fully restored, including every clip used from old film noirs. Would probably take Criterion or someone like them to get that right and doubt they'd ever do it for a Steve Martin comedy.
