Default Which Texas Chainsaw Massacre is your favorite?

We all know that The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is one of the most famous horror franchises, but not every film of it deserves an A. So, which of them is your favorite?

Personally, my fave is the 2003 remake. Why?
Well, I don't know how to exactly answer this, but maybe it is because it was one of the first horror films I ever saw (I was 8 years old I guess and it came to brazilian theaters only in 2005 and I wasn't allowed to watch it, so I watched on dvd when it came out to rental. A few months later my parents bought the double dvd edition to me as a gift, cause I absolutely loved this film).

The original version is my favorite, one of the all-time great horror movies. Jessica Biel in the 2003 remake is smokin' hot though...

The original. Everything else is laughable.

Never cared for the original. I like it's grungy, down-and-dirty atmosphere but find the characters tedious. The kid in the wheelchair? Ugh. Was relieved when he finally got it.

Love the remake, though. Intense, brutal, scary. I actually cared about the kids this time. Easily one of the best remakes since the whole "classic horror remake" trend started in the early-2000s.

The first is the best, but I love the batshit-crazy second entry.

Original has always been the best for me. Second is The Beginning.

I actually liked both the remake from 2003 and The Beginning more than the original. Not knocking it, it was a great film but man was it relentlessly grim. Difficult to watch even today.
Next Generation is my least favorite. Complete garbage, imho.

The original. I like all of them minus the remake. Didn't see the newest one yet.
