Great news!

But upon first glance, does not appear to include the extras on the 2-Disc Warner DVD set, which had a couple of significant documentaries and classic shorts, so owners will want to hold onto the DVD.

I went down a Blu-ray forum rabbit hole today and found myself reading a thread about "AFI 100 Years" movies on Blu-ray. Turned out there were two left unreleased, including this one. So strange when that stuff happens.

I've never tired of watching this fun and brilliant classic. Mind boggling to consider the canon's of those three lead actors. And I love that cover!

C'mon November!

I think it is two left after this, isn't it?
In the first top 100, it would be "A Place In The Sun" and "Wuthering Heights".
In the second top 100, it would be "Bringing Up Baby" and "A Night at the Opera".

Agreed, those are some substantial extras that Criterion is excluding.

Best case scenario would be to buy a 2-disc Criterion case and make it a combo pack.

One of my all-time favorite movies. Does anybody ever wish that
[Show spoiler]Stewart and Hepburn had ended up together? Their scenes crackle and that would have been a really fun direction for the movie to take.

There's also, "Swing Time" still MIA from the second 'Top 100' list (2007).

I have had the DVD in my Amazon cart countless times and always pushed off the purchase. Very glad Criterion is giving this a proper release.

This better have every single bonus feature from the Two-Disc Special Edition DVD release.

Just in time for November's Criterion sale. I hope Bringing Up Baby and Roman Holiday will soon follow.

Looks like this will be my first time purchasing a Criterion collection movie! Been hoping this would find its way to Blu-ray.
