Great news. I think Peter Mullan is a fantastic actor and The Magdalene Sisters was a great film. I'm hoping this is region free!

I've read that Peter Mullan is none to happy with the video distributor of the DVD edition - he had wanted to include a number of supplemental material but nothing was kept for him to use. I've met him twice in person - he's ultra nice as the day is long.

Click here for a Pro-B's excellent (as always!) review.

I'm going to have to get this BD title now, although I do wish these smaller UK distributors would cease all this ridiculous we never include English Language Subs business that far too many of them seem to want to engage in; English Language subs should be a standard inclusion on all UK home video releases, no excuses.

Pro-B, I cannot wait for you to watch NEDS either, so that I can read your review!

I wish somebody would release Peter Mullan's The Magdalene Sisters on Blu Ray.
