I really liked the original and its DX version. This could be cool. Hoping they keep all the little easter eggs and appearances by other Nintendo characters. Also hoping they use more "Link the Past"-like controls since the Switch has more buttons than the GBC.

Not a fan of the art style, but definitely a day one buy as I loved it back in the day and only played it the one time at launch as a kid.

I absolutely can not wait for this game. It was one of my favorite GB games growing up. I think it looks fantastic. Given some of the zany things in this game, the art style fits perfectly.

I'm not, but I'm not a fan of this "mobile"* aesthetic, it's cheap looking and very generic. I'll buy it anyway because it's Zelda, but yeah, I truly think it looks worse

The art style vaguely reminds me of what the pictures looked like in the original game.

The Link in Link’s Awakening is the same Link from A Link to the Past. Thus, the brim of the hat should be yellow, but looks green in the screenshots.

Didn’t they change the official timeline recently so that it was no longer the same Link in ALTTP, Oracle and Link’s Awakening?

If this was A Link to the Past I'd be trading in my PS4 for a Switch but noooooOOOooo!

It really is playing off how the original looked and the original art style, but without being too literal about it. It's stylizing it, taking the original sprites and how they looked and making them update-to-date without going super detailed.
